The Green Roofs and Living Walls Centre is part of the Landscape and Environmental Design Research Group, in the Department of Architecture and Landscape at the University of Greenwich.  Collectively, the multidisciplinary group has an array of expertise ranging from arid lands and combating desertification through planting to wetland eco-hydrology, Ecosystem Services to Life Cycle Analysis and product design.

The department has a burgeoning reputation and is establishing itself at the forefront of research and teaching in the understanding and proactive design of sustainable cities and buildings.

Our agenda is to improve the quality of the environment in order to benefit people and nature and to develop and trial new systems, by linking academia with industry to provide practical, sustainable and innovative solutions for the future.
