Urban agriculture is the practice of growing, processing and distributing food in an urban location. It can reduce food miles and carbon emissions as well as providing fresh food for local communities.
Urban agriculture can involve aquaponics, aquaculture, apiculture, agroforestry and animal husbandry.
The roof of our new school has been specifically designed to develop research into these and other areas of urban agriculture.
We will be providing more information as our website develops.
